Last week in Altenberg, now I'm back in Ruhpolding for the World Cup. Altenberg went pretty well. A little cold at the end of the Christmas break put me back a little bit. But in sort of a snow blizzard in Altenberg I assured myself a reasonable result by shooting flawless. Now I'm hoping to get the ski shape back.
So now I'll be starting in the World Cup in Ruhpolding. Planned was starting at the IBU Cup in the Czech Republic, because there are more races for me and it is always a good way to get that race rhythm back. But some things went wrong in the entry procedure so now I 'have' to start in Ruhpolding. Of course this isn't the worst thing that ever happened to me, but I rather start in World Cups when I'm in good shape.
But right now things are great in Ruhpolding. Snow, low temperetures and a clear blue sky everu day, remind me of why I'm a biathlete... |
